New Year's Eve 2008:

IT'S DONE!

There were little news on our homepage in the last weeks and months. But the reason for that was the very intense production-process of our seventh studio-album ANGST. But this is now finished.

All recordings are done and every song is mixed. Since the beginning of this week the entire album is in a mastering-studio, where the songs will be refurbished. It will be released at the end of February/beginning of March 2009. The album will contain twelve songs with a complete running time of approx. 60 min. Portions of some of the new songs can already be heard on our MySpace-site.

THE HOUSE OF USHER LIVE IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

For a single show in the Czech Republic we have to stop working in studio for a while. At the 11th of October at GOTH PARTY BRNO we will play some kind of "Best Of" plus some songs of our forthcoming album "Angst".

The final mix of "Move Over Kate" will be pre-released on the second volume of "Some Kind Of Goth", a compilation of BLACK BOX/Greifswald. We have already appeared on the first volume with our special "Black Box Edit" of "Radio Cornwall" beside bands like GOLDEN APES, LIZARD SMILE, REPTYLE and SEPULCRUM MENTIS. 16th of July 2008:

Unfortunately the production of our new album "Angst" is delayed. The possible release date will now be in February 2009. In the meantime we have made a selection of thirteen songs, that will be released on "Angst".

A demo-version of "Move over Kate", which will be included on "Angst", is released right now on the 2-CD-compilation "Goth is what you make it 7". The compilation will be distributed by BATBELIEVER RELEASE/Indigo distribution.

Last not least our record label Èquinoxe Records is celebrating a jubliee. For that reason a jubilee-compilation will soon be released. Therefor we put an unpublished remix of the song "Leave", done by IN STRICT CONFIDENCE in 1996, on it. On this compilation the song bridges between the contained guitar- and elctronic-oriented bands.

7th of February 2008:

We have made some updates on our homepage. As you can see there are two new links in the menu-list. The My Space-link is leading direct towards our My Space-Site. After clicking on the Nekrolog-Link you can see a page with a form, where you can order our printed Nekrolog newsletter. Unfortunately we publish this letter only in german. But maybe you are interested in getting it anyway.

A HAPPY AND SUCCESSFUL NEW YEAR!

We wish you all the best for 2008. Last year ended for us very successful with our little tour in Germany, promoting our new release "When our idols fall". The new year has just begun, but great occurrences can be announced right at the moment.

First of all we get a message from our russian label SHADOWPLAY RECORDS, requesting us to do a tour in Russia in the forthcoming autumn. First negotiations were already made.

Then, we plan to release our new fulltime-album in autumn, as well as our first DVD "Necrologio". This year will become very eventful for us.

Last, not least we have a new contact adress, which is now published on our contact-page.
